I am a Delaware born, Philadelphia based mixed-media abstract artist and I’ve been engulfed in both visual and performing arts for over 22 years. Inspired by the ever-shifting landscape of the human psyche, I believe art calls us to examine and experience emotions as they pertain to our own human existence; and despite the vastness of our differences, art can serve as subtle proof of the collective consciousness which connects us all together. For me, it unveils hidden personas, accesses the uncharted territories of my subconscious, and gives back a voice to the words left unsaid. I attempt to illustrate these concepts through the use of shape, color, texture, depth, and figurative symbolism; to organize the images that catapult through my ever racing mind - I hope you enjoy the eclectic mix of jovial, vibrant, dark, and moody. My paintings highlight my appreciation for light and shadow and the way the two must forever exist in tandem with one another.
